Cyanuric acid (English name cyanuric acid) is also known as tricyanic acid; 2,4,6-trihydroxy-1,3,5-triazine; 2,4,6-trihydroxy-homotriazine (2,4,6-triazinettriol); homotriazine triol (sym-triazinetriol). White crystals, precipitated from water, with two water of crystallization. Slightly bitter taste, basically non-toxic, soluble in hot water, slightly soluble in cold water, aqueous solution is acidic, soluble in aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide, insoluble in cold alcohol, ether, benzene and other organic solvents. The chemical formula is C3H3N3O3, there are two isomers, namely, ketone and enol structure, usually exists as a mixture of two isomers.

Main Uses
Used in the synthesis of chlorin e derivatives, salts, lipids; trichloroisocyanuric acid; dichloroisocyanuric acid sodium or potassium; used in the synthesis of cyanuric acid-formaldehyde resins; epoxy resins; antioxidants; coatings; paints; adhesives; pesticide herbicides; metal cyanide corrosion inhibitors; polymer material modifiers, etc.; used in the production of drugs halogenated tris(hydroxyzine). Synthesis of new bleaching agent; can be used for swimming pool chlorin e stabilizer, sterilization, decontamination; can also be directly used in nylon, cycloheximid e, combustion agents and cosmetic additives, laminated plastics and high temperature glass fiber reinforced plastic production of raw materials and so on.
