The product is an important material for sol-gel processing. It can be used as a crosslinking agent, a binder or a drying agent in adhesives and coatings, especially suitable for anti-corrosion coatings, zinc-rich coatings, chemicals-resistance coatings and heat-resistance coatings.It can be used for the synthesis of cold curing silicone rubbers.
It can be used to replace CFS-104(Tetraethyl orthosilicate, or TEOS) with higher SiO2 content to reduce costs. It can be used to deposit silicic acid and improve the bonding to various inorganic substrates such as metals, glass, fibers, inorganic fillers and pigments. It can improve mechanical properties as well as chemicals and thermal stability of the composites.
